Emile’s original training as a furniture designer/maker naturally led to exploring how furniture is used within spaces, and how this impacts the way people live. This human-centered approach developed into wider fields, such as product, brand, transport and UI, all centered around the understanding of how people live and interact with their surroundings, paired with a naturally softer and more approachable style of design derived from a furniture background.
